But despite a copious filmmaking career-spanning decades, Shyam Benegal, has rarely compromised with quality that has been a hallmark of all his works.
Shyam Benegal, born 14 December, 1934 in Alwal, Secunderabad, then a British Cantonment. He graduated in Economics from Nizam College, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
